While working in the emergency room, I noticed major problems in our healthcare industry:

  • Patients being charged thousands of dollars in the hospital for basic primary care.

  • Sick individuals paying high health insurance costs but still not getting the care they need.

On the other hand, I remembered watching my dad carry, a doctor in rural Utah. He carried his black bag to patients’ homes and treated them with kindness and personalized care. THIS was the kind of care I wanted to restore.
